Last week I was lucky enough to grab a ticket to Clean Eating Alice (Alice Liveing’s) launch of her book – The Body Bible.
I bought this book a few weeks ago after following Alice on Instagram for a while, and after hearing her talk about her journey whilst training to become a Nutrition Coach with LDNM Academy. I’ve made a few recipes and can 100% say they taste as good as they look, they’re so simple and easy to make, there’s no reason not to!
The evening was held at Active in Style, King’s Road with just a small amount of people attending. It was immediately such a personal event and seeing how passionate about she is in her food and message she is sending out, was so inspiring.
In launching my own Nutrition Coaching business (GL Nutrition), I’m now forever looking at people that inspire me through social media and truly believe in the information they are selling! Alice spoke about her experiences, her lifestyle and that healthy eating is a change in every day life, but it shouldn’t define who you are. We all follow diets from time to time but actually sticking to them is a struggle when it comes down to it. The Body Bible is the message that we should be following – a non restrictive but healthy, consistent lifestyle full of foods that help our bodies!
At the end of the evening, Alice took the time to sign books and speak to everyone that attended. I was able to ask questions and advice from her, in such an approchable way.
Meeting people that inspire you will motivate you more to go and get everything you’re working towards!
My favourite recipe this week from The Body Bible is the Jerk Chicken salad with mango, cucumber and mint for added flavour. It has all the perfect ingredients for a summer dish, as well as a good kick to it for perfect complimenting flavours.
I can’t recommend the recipes from The Body Bible enough – they’re simple, quick and super healthy; perfect for keeping me on track with eating healthily every day.
