The Body Coach – Lean in 15

Joe Wicks – The body coach did a very clever thing by releasing his book straight after Christmas, when we’re all hitting the gym hard and on a health kick. 

I was straight online ordering Lean in 15 as soon as it came out, I’d cooked a few of his recipes from Instagram and was really excited at the prospect of this. Having now used it for a few months, it’s definitely worth a review, and a very good one at that!

I know we’re always told not to judge a book by its cover, but this one gives you a pretty good idea of what can be expected. Easy meals in 15 minutes, that can make you lean…the best bit – there’s a lot of chorizo and eggs involved – what more could you wish for?!

Based on a healthy lifestyle, including exercise and consistent balanced healthy eating, the book advises you on which type of meals to eat and when. What I mean by this is, low or high carb based around when you exercise and how much.

One thing I struggle with is nutrition and I believe my visible results will be much more impressive when I finally figure out what nutrition diet works for me. Lean in 15 has been  the perfect start for me this year!

Finally a healthy recipe book that doesn’t take hours to cook and prepare. On top of that – most of the ingredients are already in your fridge/cupboards!! Working two jobs leaves little time for cooking but I can’t keep away from this book. The recipes are so quick to make, I can make them in advance and leave them in the fridge for when I’m ready, or put them in some Tupperware for work.

I honestly can’t recommend this book enough, they’re such simple recipes, they’re easy to make after a long day and if you want to get into food prepping, they’re perfect for making in advance. If you look at some of the Lean in 15 90 day plan results on Instagram, you’ll see that Joe’s method clearly works very well!
