I’ve noticed a lot of great comments since Christmas time about Bondi Sands tanning products, so when I found out they were coming to Superdrug in the UK, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some.
I’ve tried a lot of different tanning products over the last few years and one of my absolute favourites is the Cocoa Brown Mousse. I decided to stick with the mousse option when ordering Bondi Sands and as I’m quite pale anyway, I went for the light tan. I love a darker tan, but I like to create this look by building it up rather than going straight in and risking an orange, streaky look for myself!
The tan went on really smoothly and spread surprisingly far unlike some other mousse that just stick to a small area. It instantly smelt amazing, a very rich coconut smell with little hint of fake tan which is incredible. I’ve immediately binned many tans after discovering they smell of that horrible biscuit scent!
The bottle instructs to leave the tan on for at least 3 hours and for a darker tan, reapply after 1 hour. The first time I used this, I washed it off after 3 hours and was pleased with the result but it wasn’t quite as dark as I’d hoped. After using it a few more times and leaving it on for longer, or overnight, I’ve been really pleased with the result.
It stills smells great on your skin the day after and always makes my skin feel really smooth. I have very sensitive skin and suffer with eczema, which is irritated greatly by some tanning products, I also usually find them all very drying.
I ordered online from Superdrug at £14.99. I thought it was a little expensive at first – but trust me, it’s really worth the price! I was really pleased with Bondi Sands Tanning Mousse and will be purchasing again once I’ve run out. If you have sensitive skin or just looking for a new tanning product, I’d highly recommend giving this a go.
